      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: &amp;pound;14.50 - &amp;pound;15/hour | Type: Temporary | Weekend Chef – Bristol     St Pauls, Bristol, BS2    We are looking for a  Weekend Chef  to join our team at a hostel in Bristol.  The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing  home-cooked meals, mainly from scratch , for up to  22 residents per day . Residents place their food orders in the morning and the chef prepares the meals.   You will be  working independently,  so you must be confident working on your own. The role also includes kitchen porter (KP) duties and general kitchen responsibilities.   Job Details:   	  Saturday &amp; Sunday,  12pm–6pm  	   £15.00 per hour  	  Up to  22 meals per day  	   8-week temporary contract , with the possibility of becoming permanent 	   Paid weekly , plus holiday pay 	   Basic DBS required  initially; Enhanced DBS will be applied for if the role becomes permanent 	   Good access to public transport     Requirements:   	 Previous chef/cooking experience 	 Happy to work alone 	 Comfortable preparing home-cooked meals from scratch 	 Will also need to do the washing up and keeping kitchen clean and tidy  	 Reliable and responsible 	 Will need  to complete a basic DBS     Interested?
