Varang Recruitment are currently recruiting for carehome Chef/ Cook for our care home clients based in Slough and surrounding areas. Head Chef duties: Menu development - tailor menus around residents and to ensure we deliver person centred hospitality Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest quality and standards Help create a warm, efficient and fun environment Work within budgets Help to complete regular audits Help manage stock control To help lead, motivate, inspire and develop a team Head Chef experience and qualifications: Qualifications within Catering/Food Safety and Hygiene Experience working as a chef/ cook in a similar setting Experience working in a busy kitchen environment Good understanding of nutrition and specialist diets Experience working with fresh seasonal food Good understanding of food safety If you are interested in this role, please apply with your latest CV or talk to Richard directly. ..... full job details .....
