Chef Care Home

Varang Recruitment are currently recruiting for carehome Chef/ Cook for our care home clients based in Slough and surrounding areas. 

Head Chef duties:

• Menu development - tailor menus around residents and to ensure we deliver person centred hospitality
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality and wholesome dishes cooked at the highest quality and standards
• Help create a warm, efficient and fun environment
• Work within budgets
• Help to complete regular audits
• Help manage stock control
• To help lead, motivate, inspire and develop a team

Head Chef experience and qualifications:

• Qualifications within Catering/Food Safety & Hygiene
• Experience working as a chef/ cook in a similar setting
• Experience working in a busy kitchen environment
• Good understanding of nutrition and specialist diets
• Experience working with fresh seasonal food
• Good understanding of food safety
