Chef for a Cairngorm Country InnWe are seeking a Chef to help us develop and modernise our restaurant.Passionate about Scottish seasonal produce, using the best ingredients creatively to provide a wonderful experience for loyal locals and a healthy tourist trade in a gastopub setting. Duties Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes to order. Design seasonal menus using local produce. Assume ordering and stock control duties Work effectively with our small team. We are a very friendly and dedicated team who are looking forward to a new challenge. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality and service standards Essential qualities Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment. An excellent team worker with strong communication skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills . Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.The Cairn Hotel is a celebrated Highland inn, set in prime position in the Cairngorm National Park. With a 60 seat restaurant, we are the community hub for Carrbridge.
