We are recruiting experienced School Chefs to work across schools in Watford and the surrounding areas. These positions offer a fantastic opportunity to use your culinary skills in a structured daytime environment, producing high-quality meals for pupils and staff.

What you''ll be doing:

Preparing and cooking nutritious, high-volume meals
Managing kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ordering and managing stock
Leading or supporting kitchen teams
Ensuring all allergen and dietary requirements are met
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen

Requirements:

Previous Chef experience, ideally in education, contract catering, or high-volume environments
Food Hygiene Certificate
Strong knowledge of allergen management and food safety
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

IMPORTANT DBS REQUIREMENT

A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce is essential for these roles.

Please note: An Adult Workforce DBS will NOT be accepted. Only a Child Workforce DBS (or Child andamp; Adult Workforce DBS) is suitable for school environments.

If you are not currently in possession of the correct DBS, we may be able to assist with obtaining one.
