About the Role
Berkeley Scott is seeking a Chef to join Impact Food Group in Staines, working within school kitchens across the area. This temporary position offers weekday shifts and term-time employment, providing excellent work-life balance with weekends free. You will prepare and cook nutritious meals for students, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation. The role suits culinary professionals seeking regular, school-based hours with competitive pay and weekly wages. What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing as an Education Chef
andmiddot; Preparing and cooking nutritious, balanced meals for students and staff
andmiddot; Planning menus in line with school guidelines and dietary requirements
andmiddot; Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness
andmiddot; Managing stock, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
andmiddot; Supervising and supporting kitchen assistants during service
andmiddot; Adhering to all food safety and health andamp; safety regulations
What We Are Looking For In Our Education Chefs
andmiddot; Minimum 6 months experience as senior Chef andndash; preferably in a school or similar environment
andmiddot; Right to work in the UK andndash; sponsorship is not available for these roles
andmiddot; Enhanced DBS with child workforce or willing to obtain is essential
andmiddot; Strong, reliable, and excellent communication skills are essential
andmiddot; A passion for providing healthy meals for children and young people
andmiddot; Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens, as well as additional compliance training, is essential and will be provided free of charge for all applicants
Rates of pay are dependent on experience and/or the specific site/client.
