Pay Rate

andpound;16.00 - andpound;20.00+ per hour, depending on the school, assignment, location, experience, responsibilities, and other factors.

The Role

As a Chef, your responsibilities may include:

Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff
Managing your section and supporting the wider kitchen team
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
Ensuring allergen and dietary requirements are adhered to
Assisting with stock control and food ordering
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen

What We''re Looking For

Previous experience in a Chef position
Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and health andamp; safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable, professional, and hardworking
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Own transport is beneficial but not essential

Essential Safeguarding Requirement

As these roles are based within schools and educational environments, safeguarding requirements apply.

- You must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce, preferably registered on the Update Service, or

- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Child Workforce check before starting work.

Please note: Basic DBS, Standard DBS, and Adult Workforce DBS certificates are not suitable for these positions. All successful applicants must have a valid Enhanced DBS for the Child Workforce before working within a school.
