Temporary Chef Opportunity | Daytime Hours | Enhanced Child Workforce DBS Required

Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Chef to support a busy catering operation in the Beaconsfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, maintaining high standards, and delivering quality food in a professional catering environment. You''ll be joining an established team and will be expected to work efficiently while ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh meals to a high standard
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed
Managing stock effectively and minimising waste where possible
Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Working as part of a kitchen team to deliver a consistent and professional service

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen
A good understanding of food safety and allergen management
The ability to work independently and remain organised during busy service periods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive, flexible, and reliable approach to work

DBS Requirement

A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce is essential for this position.
