Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, high quality meals in line with education and healthcare catering standards
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen legislation always
Cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and nutritional guidelines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
Support with menu planning, stock rotation, and waste control
Assist with service delivery during peak mealtimes in busy environments

Our Ideal Chef

Proven experience as a Chef (CDP, Sous Chef, or similar) andndash; ESSENTIAL
Experience within schools, care homes, hospitals, or contract catering is highly desirable
Strong understanding of nutritional standards and special dietary needs
Level 2 Food Safety (minimum) or willingness to obtain
Enhanced DBS andndash; ESSENTIAL
Ability to work efficiently in structured, compliance-driven kitchens
Reliable, professional, and adaptable
Driving licence preferred but not essential
