Role Overview We are seeking a talented and reliable Chef / Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for an experienced chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals. Whether your background is in fast-paced a-la-carte dining or the rewarding environment of health and social care, your culinary expertise will ensure our service users and guests receive an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Meal Preparation and Service: Standardize, prepare, and cook high-quality dishes according to the required dietary needs or menu specifications. Menu Planning: Assist in designing and executing engaging menus (including a-la-carte or specialized dietary menus where required). Kitchen Operations: Manage daily section tasks, ensuring prep work is completed efficiently and food waste is minimized. Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP), ensuring the kitchen, equipment, and utensils are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. Stock Management: Assist with stock control, rotation (FIFO), and correct storage of ingredients. Requirements and Qualifications Experience Minimum of 6 months of professional chef experience within the UK is essential. Proven experience working as a Chef, Chef de Partie (CDP), or A-la-carte Chef.
