Chartered Structural Engineer

Chartered Structural Engineer Location: WR13 Salary: Competitive, DOE Job Type: Permanent Start: ASAP We are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join an established structural engineering team based in the WR13 area. The role would suit an experienced structural engineer looking to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects, providing technically sound and commercially practical structural solutions from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver structural engineering solutions across a range of projects. Prepare and review structural calculations, specifications and technical reports. Produce and review structural drawings and details. Assess existing structures and recommend appropriate solutions. Liaise with architects, contractors, clients and other consultants. Attend site visits, inspections and meetings where required. Manage structural engineering projects from initial design through to completion. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers. Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards and Building Regulations. Review and approve technical work where appropriate. Help maintain high standards of technical quality across projects. Requirements Chartered Structural Engineer status with the relevant professional institution.
