Chartered Building Surveyor

My client are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team in Oxford. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high quality professional services across a diverse portfolio of projects.
The successful candidate will have proven experience being instructed on a wide range of commercial, educational, and residential projects, including working with clients such as multinational financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
·Conduct condition, measured, and dilapidation surveys across commercial, residential, and educational properties.
·Diagnose building defects, prepare technical reports, and provide costed recommendations for remedial works.
·Prepare schedules of condition, schedules of dilapidation, and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
·Undertake project management duties, including contract administration and overseeing refurbishment and repair projects.
·Provide professional advice on property and construction matters, including building regulations and compliance.
·Build and maintain strong client relationships, including with high-profile organisations such as multinational financial institutions.
·Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
Key Requirement:
·MRICS Chartered status
·Demonstrable experience in building surveying across commercial, residential, and educational projects.
·Strong knowledge of building pathology, construction technology, and building regulations.
·Experience in contract administration and project management.
