Charity Director We are seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to guide a respected charity supporting people with life-limiting conditions, their families, carers and those affected by bereavement. Salary: £45,000 pro rata (21 hours per week, FTE 35 hours)Location: Dorking, Surrey - Office based with some flexibilityHours: 21 hours per weekClosing Date: 14th August 2026 About the Role This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established and highly regarded charity that provides practical and emotional support to people living with life-limiting conditions, alongside their families, carers and those experiencing grief and bereavement. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Charity Director will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the organisation remains sustainable, effective and responsive to the needs of those it serves. You will lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, oversee service delivery, drive fundraising and income generation, and act as an ambassador for the charity across communities and stakeholder networks. The role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with compassion, building strong relationships while ensuring the organisation delivers meaningful and measurable impact.
