Do you want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people while developing your own sense of vocation?We are seeking a motivated and committed Chaplaincy Assistant to lead and grow chaplaincy outreach across local prep schools, working as part of the Canford chaplaincy team.This is a unique opportunity to engage with young people''s spiritual curiosity, support them as they explore life''s big questions, and contribute to a culture of compassion, reflection, and belonging within diverse school communities.The role includes:Leading chaplaincy provision in two local prep schoolsDelivering engaging assemblies and opportunities for reflectionProviding pastoral support to pupils and staffBuilding strong relationships across school communitiesContributing to wider school life, including co-curricular activitiesWe are looking for someone who:Is a committed Christian with a lived and authentic faithRelates well to young people and communicates with warmth and clarityIs adaptable, organised, and eager to take initiativeIs exploring a future in ministry, education, or pastoral careExperience working with young people is desirable.
