Challenge Event Project Manager

Role Overview The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Event Project Manager role. This Fixed Term position involves leading the end-to-end management of community-focused charity events, ensuring seamless logistics, inspiring participant engagement, and fostering strong relationships across teams to support fundraising objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution from initial concept to post-event activities Coordinate on-the-day logistics, including setting up cheer points and post-race receptions Manage relationships with volunteers, supporters, clinical staff, and community partners Implement strategies to inspire participant retention, community building, and supporter engagement Organise virtual and on-site communications, including online calls, visits, and storytelling projects Collaborate closely with marketing and fundraising teams to optimise event success and supporter experience Track and evaluate event outcomes, ensuring objectives such as fundraising targets and supporter satisfaction are met Maintain accurate records of participant data, fundraising progress, and logistical arrangements Lead community management efforts, fostering a sense of belonging among participants and supporters Person Specification Proven experience in managing fundraising events Excellent organisational and logistical planning skills Strong relationship-building and communication abilities Ability to motivate and ..... full job details .....
