The Stansted Airport Consultative Committee (STACC) is the independent statutory body responsible for fostering effective dialogue between London Stansted Airport and its stakeholders. As the Airport continues to grow and evolve, STACC plays a vital role in ensuring that the views of communities, businesses, local authorities and passengers are heard and considered. This is particularly important given Stansted''s significance as a major economic asset, serving around 30 million passengers annually and operating as the UK''s third largest cargo airport, handling 274,000 tonnes of freight each year (11% of UK air freight; SDP, 2025). As a vital link connecting businesses across the East and Southeast of England to global markets, the Airport''s continued development reinforces the importance of STACC''s independent and balanced role. We are seeking an outstanding individual to become the next independent Chair of STACC and its Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG). This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the UK''s most respected airport consultative committees.
