Job Title: Chainsaw Operative / Groundworker

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Days

Pay: Competitive Day Rate

We are looking to grow our arboriculture team. As a Chainsaw Operative/Groundworker at RSS Infrastructure, you will play a key role in delivering safe and professional vegetation management services, supporting Arborist Climbers and Project Leads to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

• Operate chainsaws safely and efficiently.
• Carry out tree removal, pruning, and land clearance.
• Follow project plans and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Inspect, maintain, and use equipment correctly.
• Work closely with the team to deliver projects on time.
• Apply strong knowledge of tree identification and arboriculture best practice.

• Essential
  • NPTC CS30, CS31 (Units 301/302/303).
  • Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety).
  • Brush cutter/strimmer competency.
  • Forestry First Aid or First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within site teams.

  • Wood Chipper and MEWP
