Centreless Grinder - Setter / Operator

We are recruiting an experienced Centreless Grinder to set and operate grinding machines, producing precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances. The Role: Set and operate centreless grinding machines. Carry out through-feed, in-feed and plunge grinding. Undertake precision centreless bar grinding. Produce multiple-diameter components using centreless form grinding. Carry out taper grinding. Inspect components using precision measuring equipment. Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Requirements: Previous experience setting and operating centreless grinding machines. Experience with the grinding processes listed above. Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances. Confidence using micrometers and other precision measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality. The Package: Up to 20 per hour, depending on experience. Day shift working. Birmingham location.
