Job Title: Centre Manager-(Employability/Study Programmes)
Location:-Ipswich
Salary:36k - 38k (depending upon skills and experience)
Type: Full Time,-Permanent
Role duties;
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of Tutors to achieve sustained high performance, quality of delivery and compliance.
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the training centre and Study Programme provision, including SEND delivery.
- Have overall responsibility for the learner journey, ensuring effective admissions, engagement, retention, achievement, progression and positive destinations.
- Effectively performance manage staff through regular reviews, observations, coaching and development, addressing under-performance and implementing clear improvement actions where required.
- Lead on quality assurance and continuous improvement, overseeing audits, observations, SAR and QIP activity and ensuring actions are delivered within agreed timescales.
- Work closely with the Head of Education, quality team and wider stakeholders to ensure contractual, Ofsted, awarding body and organisational requirements are consistently met.
- Take ownership of centre performance, using learner, staff and financial data to identify trends, manage risks and drive improvements across the provision.
- Work closely with the Head of Education and senior leadership team on contractual, funding and financial requirements, ensuring KPIs and organisational objectives are achieved.
- Lead the development and maintenance of an inclusive, high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, and aligns with Ofsted and awarding body requirements.
- Relevant Teaching / Management qualification at a minimum of Level 3.
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 2 in Maths and English (Functional Skills or GCSE equivalents).
- Proven experience of working within a similar leadership role, with a strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive education.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team and foster a culture of learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
