CDM Principal Designer

The role will have responsibility for coordinating Principal Designer activities across multiple work packages and ensuring that design risks, interfaces, changes and health and safety information are effectively managed from design through to construction and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and familiarise yourself with existing organisational CDM procedures, standards and processes, with particular focus on requirements relating to the Principal Designer role.Take ownership of Principal Designer-related procedures, documentation and processes across the assigned projects and work packages.Ensure all internal and external designers understand and comply with their duties and responsibilities under CDM Regulations.Establish and facilitate regular meetings with Clients, Principal Contractors, Principal Designers, Engineering teams and other relevant project stakeholders.Chair regular Principal Designer coordination meetings, ensuring effective communication, collaboration and exchange of health and safety information between design teams.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
