CDM Principal Designer

A vibrant multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Reading is looking to appoint a confident CDM Principal Designer. This consultancy boasts a well-established Health and Safety team, which will see you work with a blend of both their in-house design teams and external clients.

You will enjoy an extremely collaborative environment with no shortage of experienced CDM Principal Designer to work with, with projects located both in Berkshire, London and Home Counties.

The CDM Principal Designer role

The successful CDM Principal Designer will advise clients on their duties under CDM 2015 and mitigate risk during the pre-construction phase of projects. You will contribute in client and design team meetings, ensuring compliance and safe design practices across a range of schemes.

The CDM Consultant

• Minimum 4 years'' experience in a CDM Principal Designer or CDM Consultant role (essential)
• NEBOSH Construction / General / Fire certificate (essential)
• TechIOSH (minimum)
• APS membership (preferred)
• Degree in a design-related discipline such as Architecture, Engineering or Surveying (preferred)
