CDM Principal DesignerA highly respected multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to join their expanding Health and Safety team in Bristol.The successful CDM Principal Designer will become part of an established team of specialists providing Principal Designer and construction Health and Safety services across a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from smaller refurbishment schemes through to complex, high-profile developments.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious CDM Principal Designer who wants greater exposure to technically interesting projects while being supported towards further professional development and progression.The CDM Principal Designer RoleAs the successful CDM Principal Designer, you will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure Health and Safety is properly considered and managed throughout the design process.The role will include:Acting as Principal Designer under CDM 2015Planning, managing and monitoring the pre-construction phaseAssisting clients with the preparation of Pre-Construction InformationReviewing drawings and design information for foreseeable Health and Safety risksCoordinating with Architects, Engineers and other DesignersChairing and attending design risk meetingsProducing and maintaining design risk registersReviewing contractor documentationUndertaking site inspections and Health and Safety auditsPreparing and reviewing Health and Safety ..... full job details .....
