CDM Facilitator

We have a CDM Facilitator role available within TATA Steel''s Port Talbot site. Role: CDM Facilitator Location: TATA Steel, Port Talbot SA13 2NG (100% site based) Pay: £40,788 per annum, hourly this is £21.49ph Contract length: 36 months Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday 08:30-16:45, Friday 08:30-15:45 (36.5 hours per week) Start: ASAP but pending the successful result of a medical assessment. This does involve a drug and alcohol test. Responsibilities: Supporting and advising the project teams in the co-ordination, implementation and development of safety systems and procedures Ensuring that adequate control measures are in place for the control of Contractors working for the Project and Design department Ensuring compliance with appropriate CDM and HandS legislation is maintained. Supporting the deployment of the Tata Health and Safety Management System and department goals with respect to the Safety Annual Plan. Identifying improvements in health, safety and environmental standards in the assigned area/Project construction site. Updating designated Safety Systems including Compliance Register and Audit Index. ..... full job details .....
