CCTV Engineer

We are recruiting for a CCTV Engineer for a well-established and rapidly expanding security technology company is seeking an experienced CCTV Field Engineer to join their team, based in or around Reading with travel into the North West of London. The business specialises in delivering advanced security solutions for temporary and remote sites, partnering with major clients across the construction, rail, and civil engineering sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in IP CCTV systems who is looking to play a key role within a growing organisation. Key Responsibilities Install and commission IP CCTV systems. Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on CCTV equipment. Identify and resolve system issues on-site with minimal supervision. Complete all relevant documentation and reports on time. Train end users on new systems and provide guidance on potential false alarm risks. Ensure professional and effective communication with clients. Prepare equipment and documentation prior to site visits. Manage van stock, conduct stock checks, and replenish as required. Maintain the condition and safety of your assigned vehicle, reporting any faults. Perform on-the-day risk assessments and identify site-specific hazards. Adhere strictly to company Health and Safety procedures and installation standards. Experience and Skills Required Proven experience installing and commissioning CCTV systems.
