CB3 5C FLT Material Handling

Manpower are currently seeking FLT Operators, to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Domestos, Surf and Persil.The position is based in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role following shifts that can cover days, nights and over weekends. Compensation for this role is highly competitive, paying between 18.11 p/h to 20.28 per hour on an annualised payment of 37.5 hours per week Main Job Purpose:The Material Supply Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the forklift trucks and warehouse equipment to effectively carrying out various warehouse tasks. The Material Supply Operator must ensure that all goods are moved within the factory areas using the relevant procedures. Key areas of Accountability: General Maintain excellent internal communications within own team and with other teams via completion of shift logbooks, activity boards and thorough handovers. Follow instructions from Leaders to use down time for basic cleaning activities such as training, 5S Ensuring cover at all times through working effectively with colleagues in line with site working agreements using line manager as point of escalation if required.
