Catering Tutor/Instructor

FIND are delighted to be recruiting a Catering Tutor/Instructor on behalf of a Norwich based alternative vocational education provider. Established in 1965, our client provide young people with opportunities in Construction, Mechanics, Catering and Hospitality, Health and Social Care and Hair and Beauty. They take pride in offering a diverse range of training courses for students at both pre-16 and post-16. This is an ideal opportunity for both experienced catering tutors or individuals with recent catering experience looking to move into the Education and Training sector. The role will involve tutoring young people aged 11-18 (or up to 25 with an EHCP), enabling them to progress in their vocational training towards career goals. Key purposeTo deliver high quality teaching and learning in catering and hospitalityTo ensure the health, safety, safeguarding and wellbeing of learners, staff and visitors to the centre in accordance with our operating policiesTo support all students in achieving their potential by taking a pro-active, enthusiastic and flexible approachCore responsibilitiesTo develop resources, teaching materials, schemes of work and lesson plans for all lessons against the City and Guilds 7107 Level 1 Introduction to the Hospitality Industry learning standards To deliver and assess school and post 16 students to the City and Guilds learning outcomes.Monitoring and maintaining group registers, tracking progress and providing feedback to both students, centre staff ..... full job details .....
