This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced catering professional who is available to start immediately and can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy school kitchen.The school is currently recruiting for a permanent Catering Manager, so this role is initially offered on a temporary/interim basis to provide cover while the permanent recruitment process takes place.There may also be potential for the temporary position to develop into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate, should this be of interest.The Role You will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring students and staff receive a nutritious, high-quality catering service.Key responsibilities include: Leading the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. Preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality food. Managing and supporting the catering team. Planning menus and bringing creativity and culinary flair to the catering offer. Supporting themed days, events and activities. Promoting a positive food culture within the school.
