An established national Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Facilities Services provider Job Details We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrically Biased Catering Engineer to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial catering equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.Key Responsibilities: Service, repair, and maintain commercial catering equipment, including ovens, grills, dishwashers, and combi ovens. Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs. Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown response. Install new catering equipment and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards. Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets. Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service. Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Experience working on commercial catering equipment is highly desirable. COMCAT qualifications (1, 3, 5) are an advantage but not essential. Full UK driving licence. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
