Catering Assistant/Domestic Cleaner University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust Derriford Hospital, PL6 8DH Working from 3.30pm 10.00pm 5 days out of 7 (includes weekends) Band 2 - £12.92per hour Monday Friday £18.22 per hour on Saturdays and £23.65 on Sundays University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service/Catering Assistant who is happy to help serve food and drinks to patients, clean down kitchen etc from 3.30pm - 8.00pm and then assist with Cleaning from 8.00pm - 10.00pm. This is a combined role, covering environmental cleaning and food and beverage services, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting patients nutritional needs. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the well-being of patients while working in a friendly and supportive environment. This physically demanding role requires you to be on your feet for long periods and working efficiently in a busy environment. This is a temporary role Key Responsibilities Deliver high standards of ward and departmental cleaning, including wards, patient cubicles, sanitary areas, patient equipment, and enhanced cleans where required Cleaning equipment and high-contact touch points Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste safely and correctly Replenishing soap, paper towels, and other hygiene supplies Serve food and beverages to patients throughout the day, including breakfast, hot meals, and drinks and clean down kitchen area ..... full job details .....
