This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with catering, hospitality or kitchen experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing healthy meals to pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation, serving meals and cleaning duties
• Supporting a safe, hygienic and efficient kitchen environment
• Following food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures
• Washing up and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Assisting with stock control and basic kitchen records
• Working effectively as part of a friendly catering team
• Providing excellent service to pupils, staff and visitors

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience in a catering, hospitality or kitchen environment
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements
• A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Willingness to undertake relevant training where required

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two employment references covering the last 24 months
