You will assist with the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff, while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with food preparation and meal serviceServe food to pupils and staffHelp with setting up and clearing dining areasWash up and maintain a clean and tidy kitchenFollow food hygiene and health and safety proceduresAssist with stock and general kitchen dutiesWork effectively as part of the catering teamProvide a friendly and professional service at all timesRequirementsPrevious catering, kitchen or food service experience is desirableExperience working in a school, care home, restaurant, café or similar environment would be an advantageReliable, punctual and hardworkingGood communication and teamwork skillsAble to work in a busy environmentFull driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essentialEnhanced DBS is required, or you must be willing and able to obtain oneWhat We Offer£12.81 per hour35 hours per weekStraight shifts - no split shiftsStable school-based working ..... full job details .....
