We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Catering Assistant to join a busy and welcoming school in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing high-quality food and service to students and staff.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen, helping to ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and drinks
- Setting up and clearing dining areas
- Washing up and maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen
- Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Supporting the catering team during busy service periods
- Helping to maintain stock and storage areas

- Is reliable, punctual, and organised
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Has previous catering or kitchen experience (desirable but not essential)
