We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Catering Assistant to join our team based at Edgware Community Hospital.Hours of Work - 37.5Monday to Sunday 5 days on 2 days off 10.30 - 6pm£29,742.00 per annumTraining will be providedDBS is requiredAbout the role:The Catering Assistant is responsible for the provision of a food and beverage service in accordance with health and safety requirements, Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.Duties include, but are not limited to, food preparation, cooking, serving and presentation, cleaning of crockery, cutlery and equipment, rotation of stock, maintenance of food hygiene regulations and cash handling.No formal qualification is required as full training will be given.What we can offer you:27 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday.Training and development opportunities, providing opportunities for you to develop and progress through our Professional Excellence Framework.SMART Pension contribution into which the company will contribute up to 6%.NHS retail discounts and Cycle to Work Scheme.15 hours (pro-rata) of paid time off to volunteer at a cause of your choice.We have a great Colleague Assistance Programme and offer support for all areas of life.An organisation with a passionWe are an organisation with a passion for giving back.
