Catering Assistant - Newbridge

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for various events and functions.

• Set up and dismantle catering equipment, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Provide excellent guest services by attending to the needs of clients and event attendees.
• Support bartending activities as required, ensuring that beverages are served efficiently.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items to events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of catering areas before, during, and after events.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to assist in food preparation tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and team members.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
