Catering Assistant

MPA Coleraine are currently seeking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant based in Coleraine. This position will have an immediate start available and will be based in a hospital setting. The ideal candidates will need to be flexible and be able to work as part of a team. Job Duties Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and hygienic Ensuring all utensils and dishes are washed correctly and ensure they are stored appropriately Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients Preparing and cooking food Correct disposal of waste/rubbish Cleaning food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas Checking and recording food temperatures Essential Criteria Minimum of 6 months previous experience working within a kitchen environment or 3 months in a formal care environment Willingness to undergo Access NI clearance A great team player Desirable Criteria Level 2 food hygiene Further Information Pay Rate £12.71 - £23 depending on shift worked Onsite parking Monday to Friday Weekly pay Holiday fund I am keen to have an initial discussion with anyone who feels this could potentially be of interest.
