Catering Assistant

Location: Llandough Start date: Week commencing Monday 7 September onwards Contract: Temporary, duration unknown Pay Rates 13.45 per hour (Weekdays) 17.91 per hour (Saturdays) 23.24 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays) Working Pattern 5 days out of 7 Shifts between 6:00am and 8:00pm Various contract hours available: 16 hours per week 24 hours per week 30 hours per week 37.5 hours per week The Role We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Catering Assistants to join a busy food service operation.This role would suit candidates who enjoy working as part of a team, can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining high standards of customer service, food safety, and cleanliness. Main Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and service of meals and beverages. Ensure food is presented and served to the required standards. Support the delivery of catering services to customers in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain cleanliness throughout catering and food service areas. Wash and sanitise catering equipment, utensils and food preparation areas. Replenish food, beverages and consumables as required. Assist with stock control, stock rotation and the storage of deliveries. Comply with all Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Infection Prevention policies.
