Catering Assistant

Location: Oldham
Hours: 20-30 hours per week
Pay: -13.45 per hour

Our client is looking for 2 Catering Assistants to join their team and support the smooth running of their daily catering and meal service.

This is a great opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of food preparation, cleanliness and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food.
• Setting up dining and service areas ready for meals.
• Washing dishes, utensils and catering equipment.
• Clearing and wiping down tables and work areas.
• Emptying bins and maintaining clean and tidy service areas.
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment in line with health and safety requirements.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
• Supporting the wider catering team to ensure daily meal services run smoothly.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A recent DBS check.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification.
• At least Level 1 Maths and English.
• A reliable and responsible approach to work.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
