Catering Assistant

We are recruiting a Temporary Catering Assistant to join a long-established national business based in Farnworth. This Catering Assistant role is based within fantastic modern offices and is focused on providing a first-class service to staff, supporting meetings, refreshments, catering and the smooth running of the office social and kitchen areas. This is a temporary cover opportunity, with training required in advance of the holiday cover. You will be required to start on 23rd September, with approximately 3 days'' training, before providing cover from 28th September to 2nd October. What will you be doing as an Catering Assistant?Arranging and providing refreshments for booked and ad hoc meetingsPreparing meeting rooms and ensuring they are clean, tidy and organised after meetingsLiaising with and coordinating external catering companiesEnsuring vending machine stations are fully stockedMonitoring kitchen supplies and placing regular orders as requiredPreparing lunch each day for a couple of DirectorsMaintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming kitchen and social areaManaging stock levels and replenishing suppliesTaking contactless payments for snacks and other items sold within the kitchen areaAssisting with buffet lunches and catering arrangements for special eventsProviding a friendly, ..... full job details .....
