This is a temporary ongoing position starting in September, offering consistent weekday hours that are ideal for candidates seeking part-time work during school hours. Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.Setting up and replenishing food counters and service areas.Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.Washing dishes, utensils, and catering equipment.Cleaning kitchen and dining areas in line with health and safety regulations.Assisting with stock rotation and storage of food deliveries.Providing friendly and efficient customer service during meal times.Following all school safeguarding, health and safety, and food hygiene procedures.RequirementsPrevious catering, kitchen assistant, food serviceAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to ongoing work.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
