Connect2TalentSolutions are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join school catering teams across the Black country area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment, providing nutritious meals to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash up kitchen utensils, equipment, and trays
Follow food safety procedures and health & safety regulations
Set up and clear down dining areas before and after service
Support the catering team with general kitchen duties
Interact politely and professionally with students and staff
Requirements:
Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role (preferred but not essential)
A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Good communication skills and a helpful attitude
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Understanding of basic food hygiene (Level 1 or 2 Food Safety Certificate desirable)
