Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of basic food items and ingredients
Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised kitchen environment
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Always follow food hygiene and allergen standards
Assist with clearing down and closing the kitchen after service
Support meal service, including serving food where required

Our Ideal Kitchen Assistant

Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is essential
Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Food Safety Level 1 or 2, or willingness to obtain
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain is essential
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
Flexible and adaptable to different sites and shifts
Driving licence preferred but not essential
