As a Catering Assistant, Your Duties May Include

Supporting Chefs, Catering Managers and kitchen teams
Preparing and serving hot and cold food
Serving pupils, residents, customers and guests
Assisting with events, functions and hospitality services
Setting up and clearing down catering areas
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant or Food Service Assistant
Experience within schools, care homes, events or contract catering is advantageous
Food Safety and Allergen qualifications, or willingness to complete
Enhanced DBS with child barring, or willingness to obtain, for school-based roles
Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills
A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
