The successful candidate will need to be present with a warm welcoming smile and a can do attitude, serving high quality food and beverages to all our customers. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am-3: 30pm. As a Catering Assistant, you will be doing the following:Carrying out practical tasks such as cooking, baking, cleaning and serving. Preparing food and serving in strict accordance with food safety regulations. This may include preparing raw ingredients for cooking by peeling, chopping, trimming, marinating, seasoning and storing food.Operating of kitchen equipment for cooking, washing and use of the coffee machine.Serving of food and drinks for breakfast and lunch times plus ad hoc drinks and confectionary in between these opening times.Operating of the till, currently all payments are via card only.Helping with the unloading of deliveries of stock, ingredients etc. Disposing of waste from food preparation, finished meals and waste products such as oil.Cleaning of work surfaces, cookers and appliances to ensure continued kitchen ...
