Catering and Travel and Tourism Lecturer

The Role We are seeking a motivated and skilled Catering and Travel and Tourism Lecturerto join our Service Industries department at our Hammersmith campus. This role is 36 hours a week, Term Time Only, on a Permanent Contract. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Catering, and Travel and Tourism programmes, supporting learners to achieve their full potential. The role involves classroom, practical and industry-based delivery, learner support, assessment, and contribution to curriculum development, ensuring provision remains current, industry-relevant and aligned with awarding body requirements. Where appropriate, you may also take responsibility for leading a study programme or course, including curriculum design, quality assurance and learner outcomes. The ideal candidate will: Deliver engaging and effective teaching, training and assessment across Catering, Hospitality and Travel and Tourism programmes. Plan and deliver engaging theoretical, practical and industry-focused sessions that develop learners'' knowledge, skills, confidence and employability. Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work and high-quality teaching and learning materials in line with College and awarding body requirements. Deliver practical catering sessions, where required, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, service and professional practice.
