Overview: As a Catering Assistant with Teaching Assistant responsibilities, you will play an important role in both the day-to-day catering provision and supporting pupils across the school. You will assist with the preparation and distribution of breakfast, break-time snacks and lunch, with minimal food preparation required as meals are delivered from another site, while ensuring the catering area remains clean, safe and well organised. Alongside this, you will support pupils within the classroom, particularly during practical food technology and catering sessions, helping with cooking activities, food preparation skills, engagement, behaviour and employability-focused learning.
