Category Manager - (Chilled / Retailers)

My client, part of a Group of successful food manufactures the UK are seeking a Category Manager to provide support to the Commercial Teams, thus providing direction to the strategic planning and direction of the business. 

Your responsibilities will include,

• -Looking at historical and current trends to make decisions on the direction of the category for short, medium and long term
• -Provide support to the Commercial Teams, to highlight issues affecting sales 
• -Evaluate data using the following factors, range, distribution, price, promotions
• -Monitor Sales, waste and In-stock
• -Report on social media and online sales channels
• -Review competitor websites and social media platforms to assist with recommendations
• -Provide support to assist with seasonal range decisions
• -Work with the Supply Chain teams to drive service levels
• -Assist in planning Summer/ Winter ranges
• -Support with promotional reviews

You will have;

• Experience working with UK Reatilers
• Chiled Food Manufacturing experience
• Strong IT Skills, working with spreadsheets, Excel and other bespoke software
• Have excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Experience using Retail Link, Kantar and Nielsen data systems is advantageous
• Presentation skills

Role

• Monday to Friday
• 8.30am-5pm with flexibility as required
