Category Manager - Cloud & Information Security Procurement

Overview

As the Category Manager for the Cloud and InfoSec categories, you will be responsible for supporting WTW across the business for all procurement aligned to cyber security and Cloud operations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies related to end user and collaboration services. Knowledge is essential of how global software and licensing works and experience/background specifically in information security or cloud migration to meet the business and stakeholder needs. A strong knowledge of wider major Technology providers is also desired.You must have experience in building and maintaining key business stakeholder relationships within the category and serve as a trusted advisor and partner for them on information security and cloud maturity related matters for WTW. The Category Manager for Cloud and InfoSec will support the Head of Enterprise Technology Procurement with relevant category planning for the business.The successful candidate will also have a creative and positive approach to problem solving and a strong collaborative approach with other team members and stakeholders. A strong, analytical mindset with a meticulous approach to reporting and a willingness to learn and develop will be key to being successful in this role.The scope of the role also requires you to create and maintain up to date category plans and provide key monthly and ad hoc reporting as required and requested by your line manager. In addition to also work closely with the Procurement operations and analytics teams to review and access spend data and spend trends. Experience in negotiating large projects also desirable. This role will require you to have the ability to work multiple large and complex projects simultaneously and will only suit those with a ''get it done'' mentality.The Role

Management of procurement activities including sourcing, commercial negotiations, and project management for Cloud and InfoSec with an aim to mitigate risks and achieve intended financial outcomesAccountable for management and delivery of projects including renewals, consolidations of existing relationships and other sourcing activitiesProvide guidance and manage escalations on those individual effortsMaintain relationships with colleagues on the Category Management team, internal stakeholders, as well as suppliers.To put the interests of WTW, clients and the integrity at the heart of the way you a WTW do businessLeverage vendor relationships through negotiation to ascertain best in class products/services while reducing total cost of ownership, proven track record of year-on-year deliveryAs required provide leadership of high-profile sourcing initiativesQualifications

Strong work experience of technology procurementExperience/knowledge in Cloud computing procurementExperience/knowledge in procurement of cyber security software, related products and reporting platformsExperience in supplier negotiationsStrong relationship building skills and ability to communicate complex ideasExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCreativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches to Procurement challengesChange management and self-awareness skills to adopt targeted approaches to a dynamic set of stakeholdersAbility to articulate Procurement''s value, specifically as a Procurement business partnerKnowledge of complex sourcing and procurement principles and best practicesIndustry Procurement knowledgeLegal contract knowledge and negotiation experienceFamiliarity with relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, and industry standards as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk and ensure complianceEqual Opportunity EmployerAt WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
