Job Title: Category Manager Location: Liverpool or Norwich (2-3 days/week on site) Contract Duration : 31/08/2026 Daily Rate: £400/day (Umbrella) IR35 Status: Inside IR35 The Role: Supplier Relationship and Performance Management that enhances the Customer experience. Implement and support initiatives to retain existing and attract new customers across the construction categories Occasional site visits to customer and supplier premises across the United Kingdom Responsibility of Category management including for example the management of supplier and customer management information, financial reporting, updating and analysing multiple data sources to identify trends and spending behaviours. General commercial agreement management activities. Reporting directly to the Category Lead the role holder will be required to identify and provide recommendations for improvement of processes and implement solutions to the benefit of the organisation. An understanding of Commercial Agreements (Frameworks) and Framework call off (mini competition). The role holder will be required to use a variety of digital systems for which full training will be provided. Communicating complex data effectively, to personnel of differing levels of seniority, using a variety of styles and methods that match the audience. Working across teams in a collaborative manner and upon occasion lead and/or represent the Construction team on agreed corporate initiatives.
