Description

• Manage assigned product categories, ensuring availability and optimal stock levels.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms.
• Monitor supply chain performance and address any disruptions promptly.
• Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Prepare regular reports on category performance and provide actionable insights.
• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

A successful Category Executive should have:

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management within the Retail industry.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software or tools for inventory and supply chain management.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• A good understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.

Job Offer

• Permanent position in the Food-service industry based in Slough.
• Competitive salary between -28,000 and -30,000, dependent on the level of experience.
