About the Role
A Catastrophic Injury Solicitor is sought by a leading national firm to join its Birmingham office. This full-time position offers a salary between £65,000 and £90,000, dependent on experience, for a candidate with at least two years of post-qualification experience. The successful lawyer will manage a caseload of complex multi-track claims, focusing on employers’ liability, public liability, and road traffic accidents. Working within a specialist team, responsibilities include advising insurer clients on liability and quantum, developing litigation strategy, and supporting on high-value matters. Strong technical knowledge and case management abilities are essential for this defendant-focused role, which provides exposure to some of the sector’s most serious claims.

THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a nationally recognised Catastrophic Injury team undertaking complex defendant personal injury litigation. Working alongside experienced specialists, you will manage your own caseload of multi-track claims whilst assisting on high-value catastrophic injury matters involving employers' liability, public liability and road traffic accident claims. You will advise insurer and corporate clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy, prepare cases for trial, draft pleadings and witness statements, instruct experts and counsel, negotiate settlements and gain exposure to some of the most complex personal injury litigation in the market.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 2 years' PQE with experience in defendant personal injury litigation. Candidates with experience in employers' liability, public liability or motor claims will be particularly attractive. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical ability, strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for high-value personal injury litigation.
